Turn left onto Fåbergvegen after 650 metres, and then turn left when you meet Kringsjåvegen in a T-junction 1.2 km later. 23. August 2013
I had taken this Friday off work and after having stayed the night at Bjorli and hiked Bruåbottmillo in the morning I drove south on E6 to meet my friends for the annual fishing week-end, this year at Tore's cabin at Brøttum. But I was a couple of hours ahead of my friends and decided to go for a quick hike while waiting for them to make their way north from Oslo.
Thanks to some driving directions, via phone from Tore, I found the trail head with minimal problems, and took on the direct east route to Balbergkampen. This was obviously a popular area for physical exercise, and I met several others enjoying this sunny and warm afternoon.
After a short summit stop I headed back down to the car, and the 30 minutes or so drive south to Brøttum, where I relaxed in the sun with a couple of cold beers until the others showed up.
