Drive to the intersection of roads 659 and 661 by Eidet (Tennfjord). Turn right and drive 2.1 km towards Vatne. Turn left and and drive road 661 towards Vestnes for 5.3 km. You will see signs for "Hellenakken" to the right. Find parking along the road.
Start walking by following the road up-hill amongst the houses. After almost 300 metres the road does a sharp right, and you follow this road up to a small car park behind a building. At the end of the car park you will find the path leading to Hellenakken. This path is marked by red, and later orange, ribbons, and you follow this path all the way to Hellenakken. From Hellenakken you proceed directly north to Langsetnakken. The path between the two tops is very vague in some places.
The descent is best done via the ascent route.

I had now got into the mood of mountain bagging, but since it was a pretty terrible day weather-wise I chose to go for something short and low. Since I hadn't been to Hellenakken this seemed a good candidate for this Sunday.
I drove to Orvik a little after lunch, found parking by the road, and started my hike at 13:10. The path through the forest and later above the forest was more like a small stream than a nice path, and it was raining throughout most of the hike. Up at the plateau it was very windy, but this didn't stop me from picking around ½ litre of cranberry around Langsetnakken summit. And back down in the forest I picked some mushrooms for today's dinner.
