From Nesbyen drive west, following signs for "Tunhovd". Approximately 6 km for Nesbyen the is a sign for the ski-centre towards left. Turn left here and drive uphill. Then turn left when signed for "Tverrlia 1", and continue 1.0 km. Find parking at the start of a forest road, just below a cabin.
Start walking by following the forest road, which soon becomes a path which takes you onto the ski-slopes. Follow the ski-slopes for approximately 600 metres, up to height 980 metres. Turn right here, onto a wide and wet opening in the forest. Walk on the left hand side of the wet area in a south-eastern direction. Then continue through the small forest and along the next wet area. Cross this wet area when you're north of Kopparskallen and find your best route to the summit.
The descent is best done by reversing the ascent route.

This Wednesday was the first full day for Håvard and me at Håvard's cabin above Nesbyen. The intention was to do Harahorn in Hemsedal, but since I was out of bed a few hours before I expected Håvard to make a move I decided to go for a hike to some local top. My eyes fell on Høgeli, but as it turned out I ran out of time and had to settle for Kopparskallen.
When I got back to the cabin Håvard was out of bed, so we made ourselves a proper breakfast before heading off to Hemsedal.
