Description

Austefjellet is the third highest independent mountain (i.e. primary factor >100m) in Bergen, and is the highest Bergen mountain that is not located on the border to neighbouring municipalities. As for most of the other high Bergen mountains also Austefjellet is part of the Gullfjellet massif.
From the summit you will have an excellent view, which is one of the reasons for this being a popular target for the local hikers.
