  Dyngelandsåsen trail head.
The path towards Dyngelandsåsen starts behind the barn and house.

From the junction between roads 580 and E39 by Nesttun, south of Bergen centre, drive road 580 in the direction of Indre Arna. Turn right onto "Dyngelandsvegen" after 3.5 km , and drive 1.9 km. Park on the right hand side of the road, below a house where the road is a little wider, just after a road coming up towards right, and where the road is very close to lake Dyngelandsvatnet.

Start your walk by heading up the narrow road just in front of the house. Follow this road 240 metres up to a house, and turn right after the barn and before the house. You will find a path (actually a slightly over grown forest road), which you follow in a northern direction. After you have crossed under the power line continue on the right hand side of the power line almost up to the highest point of the path, and then turn 90° left. Turn left when you hit another path after 50 metres and follow this path up to a little below the mast at the summit. Turn right and follow a vaguer path the last few metres up to the unmarked summit.

Descend by reversing your ascent route.

16. October 2014

I had already hiked Furekampane this very nice Thursday evening, during my two-days stay in Bergen for work. The hike up to Dyngelandsåsen was mostly done on (slightly wet) path, and I even got some views from the summit. After a short summit stop and some photos I headed back down to the car, and then back to the hotel for dinner with two very good colleagues.
