  Gulberget trail head.

Assume your starting point is the round about east of Molde centre where roads E39 and 662 intersect. Drive 4.1 km east on road E39 and turn left in the round about, towards Eide. Follow road 64 5.8 km and pay toll (NOK 20 per 2014) when you exit the tunnel. Start measuring from the toll booth.

- At 5.9 km fork left in the round about, onto road 663 in the direction of Elnesvågen.

- At 11.8 km continue straight ahead (don't turn right towards "Farstad") onto road 664.

- At 27.9 km park on the left hand side of the road, next to a graveyard.

Start your hike by crossing road 664 and follow the service road, signed for Gulberget, 500 metres up to a building. You can now see the summit above you to the left, and a fine path runs from the building all the way up to the summit, which has a mast and a small building with a summit register.

Descend by reversing your ascent route.

01. January 2014

Fourth and final hike of the day, and definitely one of my easier PF100+ tops. I met a number of hikers while ascending, and also a few while descending; Gulberget seems to be a popular top, and definitely has excellent views for such a small mountain.

After the hike I drove directly to the ferry port in Molde, and was happy to get to the ferry a couple of minutes before the next exit.
