From where roads A29 and A24 meet 13 km (8 mi) north of Horsham (just south of Holmwood) turn south on A29. Drive 4.2 km (2.6 mi) and turn right onto B2126. Drive 2.0 km (1.2 mi) and turn right onto Leith Hill Lane. Drive 1.6 km (1.0 mi) and turn left towards a large car park just off Tanhurst Lane. Park here.
From the car park follow wooden poles approximately two feet high all the way to the summit, where you will find a fine summit tower. If you climb up to the top of this tower, through indoor steps, you will be greeted with excellent views in all directions.
Descend by reversing your ascent route, or you can make the hike a little longer by finding alternative routes back down.
Elisabeth, Lynne, Terry and me left for Leith Hill after breakfast and had a relatively short walk to the summit of Leith Hill. The weather was a little more hazy than the day before but still a fine day. Unfortunately my camera wasn't working well so the selection of photos is very limited for this walk (as well).
