Start measuring from where road 650 runs south, just east of Sjøholt centre, and drive road E39/E136 9.1 km in the direction of Vestnes and turn right onto a gravel road running parallel with E39. Park close to the west end of the gravel road.
Start skiing by heading 600 metres south-east and then gradually turn right an head up Nysæternakken's south-east slopes. You will find a wooden pole marking the summit.
Descend by reversing your ascent route.
We ha bought new skis to Njål and wanted to give him an easy test. There wasn't a lot of snow but sufficient for OK skiing. After an easy ascent we headed back down, which was the real test.
