From the round-about in Leknes where roads E10 and 815 meet, follow road E10 west towards Å for 2.7 km. When you arrive at the junction where E10 does a 90° right and road 818 continues straight ahead, turn right and stay on E10. Drive another 3.1 km and turn left where signed for "Skreda". 600 metres later you will find a car park on your right hand side. Park here.
Start walking by following the path up to road E10. Cross E10, and locate the path. Follow this path all the way to the summit.
The descent is best done by reversing the ascent route.
Saturday, and another foggy day in Lofoten. yet again I wanted to to a pre-breakfast hike, and again it had to be a low one to stay below the fog. I had already looked at Offersøykammen on several occasions, from several angles, and it looked like an interesting candidate.
I left our hotel in Leknes before 06:30, and at 06:50 I started my hike. While driving across to Offersøya I had seen that the fog was just touching the summit of Offersøykammen, so I had some hopes that I might catch a lucky moment with a fog-free summit when I was at the top. And it almost worked out well; there was fog from 20 metres below the summit when I got to the top, but this fog was not very thick. This at least allowed me to get some OK-ish photos taken, but all the higher mountains in the area were of course covered in thick fog.
After signing the registration book I headed back down, completing the hike in a little more than 40 minutes.
