Start measuring from the ferry port at Larsnes on road 61, and get the ferry across to Sandsøya (Voksa). From the ferry port drive 4.3 km and continue straight ahead in the 4-way junction. Drive another 600 metres and park on the left hand side of the road where the road makes a right turn.
Start your hike by following the road 60 metres back towards where you came from. Turn left and follow the path, which is marked by white poles, all the way up to the small building at the summit.
Descend by reversing your ascent route.
I had already hiked Rinden this grey Thursday (Ascension Day), and colleague Trond was on his way towards Dollsteinhola while I drove towards Toftesund in order to hike Vorakletten. In simple terms this was a straight forward hike, done in less than 25 minutes, and nothing much more to report. After the hike I drove across Vågen in order to hike Hornet.
